Is the product is defective or are you not satisfied with the product ? We find it very annoying.
You can return the product within 14 days of delivery without any penalty by following the procedure below:
Important remarks:
According to regulations regarding distance selling and the law abour market practices and consumer protection, the Customer have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract/service without penalty or without specifying a reason.
If the Customer is not satisfied with any product or a service that Customer have purchased from the Microscope-online webshop, the Customer may return the product or cancel the entitlement to services and obtain a refund of the price of the returned product or service entitlement (with the exception of the transport costs), if the Customer contact Microscope-online within 14 calendar days after the delivery of the product(s) or entering into the contract for the purchase of service(s) and if the Customer return the product(s) clean, with all accessories (unless informed otherwise), without any damage to the product and in his original packaging within 14 calendar days.
Customer is not allowed to return a product and claim a refund if:
- the product was sold as part of a sold-out action
- the product was manufactured according custom specifications for the Customer or personalized
- the product - due to their specifications - cannot be returned and sold again
- the product is a consumable, a spare bulb for illuminations, fuse, microscope slides, cover glasses, microtome knives, batteries
- the product is software which was supplied sealed and unused and the seal has been broken or which the Customer have successfully downloaded
The right to withdraw product is not applicable for products sold to non-private customers or purchased by private customers but used for professional applications.
Return procedure:
Step 1 - Notification
Notify Microscope-online of you intention to use your right of withdraw by sending an email of letter
Be sure to provide the following details:
- the order or invoice number
- an email address and telephone number where we can easily reach you
- an IBAN bank account number for the refund
Step 2 - Confirmation and further instructions
On receipt of your email or letter, we will contact you and provide you with a (Return Material Authorisation) number and a return address
Step 3 - Pack the product(s)
Pack the unused products carefully together with all accessoiries, undamaged and clean in the original packaging. Be sure that the products can't ne damaged during transportation. Avoid loose products in the packaging !
Step 4 - Put RMA and address on packaging
Indicate clearly the RMA number and return address on the packaging of the goods you are returning.
Step 5 - Shipment
Send the box - with sufficient postage - to the indicated return address.
De shipping costs for returning the goods are paid by customer.
Shipment send with 'postage paid by the recipient' or 'cash on delivery " will be refused.
Step 6 - Reception and check of the returned product(s)
Once the product(s) is/are back at the warehouse, these will be checked.
Stap 7 - Refund
When all conditions of the rigths to withdraw a product are respected, Microscope-online will process your refund within 30 days of any amount that you paid for the product, excepted the transport costs. The refund will be done by wire transfer on your registered IBAN bank account number.
