In vitro fertilisation of animals

For in Vitro Fertilisation an animal (mostly horses or cattle) are insiminated. After a while the possible embryo is flushed from the uterus. With help of a stereo microscope these embrios are seperated from the flush-water whereafter they will party be inserted in the surrogate mothers and partly frozen in liquid nitrogen to be implanted in a later stage

In cooperation with famous specialized veterinarians Euromex has developed a special zoom stereo microscope for this application, the StereoVet. This model is equiped with a dubble-sided mirror with special mirror coatings and a LED illumination. The StereoVet zoom stereo microscope is oftenly equiped with a 6.5 to 45x magnification to detect the embryo. A StereoVet with 10 to 70x maginification is used to also research and secure the morpholgy of the embryo
